Black Cat Is Completely Baffled by Stairs After Moving Into First House – Yahoo

Moving with pets is never easy — and I am saying this as someone who has done it multiple times in the past and has lived to tell the tale. While my dog is usually happy to be wherever her humans are, for my cats, it's a different story. Not only do they hate riding in their crates in the car to get to their new home, but both of them are known to hide a bit those first few days in a new environment.

There are so many little changes you may not think about right away when it comes to moving with cats, and one of those is very obvious in the TikTok video below. This black cat had to figure out stairs for the first time after moving into a house after only ever living in an apartment, and let's just say he wasn't exactly a natural!

Here, we see Chester bravely attempting the stairs, which must have looked so scary for him. They're kind of steep, especially for a kitty who has never confronted them before!

To his credit, though, he was brave enough to keep giving it a shot… even though he clearly wasn't sure what he was doing.

His humans are helping him, though… and according to the caption on the post, he's already gotten the hang of it. "It took him a couple of days but he’s getting more comfortable with the stairs!" said the update from his parents.
