Sonoma's Pets Lifeline to host free fall 'Critter Carnival'

Animal rescue nonprofit, Pets Lifeline, will host its free “Critter Carnival” on Saturday, Oct. 18, inviting the community to enjoy an afternoon of family-friendly fun, food, and furry friends.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 19686 Eighth St. East in Sonoma. It will feature live music, carnival games, local eats, and adoptable animals.
“The Critter Carnival is a celebration of community and compassion,†said Mary Serafini, events coordinator at Pets Lifeline. “It’s a day where families, friends, and animal lovers can come together to enjoy fall festivities, connect with our mission, and just have fun.â€
Highlights include live music from Curley & Curlier, Aunt Betty’s famous corn dogs, Fiorello’s Italian gelato, and pumpkin and face painting by Mama Mary. Visitors can also enjoy cotton candy, snow cones, and a raffle for a basket filled with local treats and surprises.
Carnival games, including large-scale attractions from Sonoma Party Rentals, will add to the festivities, and attendees will have the chance to meet adoptable pets from Pets Lifeline’s shelter.
