Beloved Scottish animal inspires The Reject Shop and Spotlight's new Christmas décor
A cute farm animal from Scotland has become the newest trend in not only general homewares, but Christmas décor too.
While reindeers, candy canes, Santa and gingerbread men are usually found on cushions, decorations and ornaments, the Highland cow has become a surprising addition.
The cute animal, known for its cute face and excessive hair – particularly the long fringe over its eyes – has been embraced by both Spotlight and The Reject Shop.
A video of the Highland cow range at Spotlight shared on TikTok by a customer named Emily has been viewed almost 300,00 times.
It shows Highland cow-themed Christmas products in plates, bowls, mugs and salt and pepper shakers on shelves, though there are many other designs in store including a quilt set.
