Golden Retriever's Confusion Over Human Baby's 'Talking' Toy Is Pure Sweetness – Yahoo
When a new baby comes into the family, you can never quite predict how your pet may handle it. They might fall in love and become protective of the child. Or, they may feel a bit resentful and wish all the attention were focused solely on them. Sometimes, they can go back and forth between these ends of the spectrum.
One Golden Retriever has very strong opinions… but they're focused on the baby's toy rather than the actual baby. Meet Sir Theo the Golden, who is not a fan of a noise-making stuffed elephant. Take a look at this pup's hilarious reaction, which screams, "Is anyone else seeing this?!"
"POV: Your dog hasn't gotten used to your baby toys just yet," Sir Theo the Golden's family writes. "Adding peek-a-boo to the list of things Theo doesn't like."
I love how he doesn't back away and leave the baby. He's checking out the toy with a quizzical expression. What a brave boy!
Imagine it? I've lived it! Sometimes these toys, especially as their batteries are draining, can go off without warning. It's equally scary when it happens in the car. So, obviously, I don't blame Sir Theo for wanting it gone—or silenced, at least, LOL! I can remember being relieved when batteries died in some toys, and I didn't have any readily available to replace them.
