Rescue Puppy Proves the Couch Is All His in Cute Video – Yahoo
Pet owners might agree that when you have a pet, you must not think you are the master of the house. Supporting this view, @cactustherescue posted a hilarious video, showing how their rescue puppy owns pretty much the entire couch — and he wouldn’t give it up for anyone. Cactus the pup claims his rightful spot on the couch, showing his dad exactly who runs the household. And he is quite gentle while doing it, too.
The rescue puppy’s video begins dramatically, with close-up shots of Cactus and his owner sitting on opposite ends of the couch. They stare at each other, and tension builds with each passing moment.
Soon, Cactus rises from his spot and marches straight toward his dad, who looks at the pup in anticipation. Without a bark or a growl, the rescue simply places a paw beside his owner’s leg. This polite move was enough to let the pet parent know, “This is my spot.”
The next footage shows the owner’s hilarious reaction. As expected, the rescue puppy wins the fight — one that he did not even put up — and triumphantly stretches out fast asleep on the couch.
His owner, on the other hand, sits on the floor, arms crossed and shaking his head. The onscreen caption sums up the story perfectly: “When your dog takes your spot so you sit somewhere else.”
