Tiny Rescue Kitten Welcomes the Big Love of Her Bernese Mountain Dog Brother – Yahoo

There are few things sweeter than a friendship between one enormous animal and one tiny one. It could be the way the big ones always seem to know they have to be gentle, or maybe it’s the little ones who walk around with the confidence of a lion. Either way, those pairings always get me.

For Bernoulli, the lovable Bernese Mountain Dog, this isn’t anything new. He’s been a cat lover since he was a fluffy baby. Since he became part of the family, he has doted on his feline best friend, Ginger.

And now that Ginger has moved, he suddenly has a new tiny pal — a rescue kitten named Brix. Judging from their first few days together, Bernoulli seems completely smitten, and luckily for him, the feeling appears to be mutual.

Even though Bernoulli weighs in at around 110 pounds, Brix doesn’t look the least bit concerned. He’s stretched out, half-asleep, looking as relaxed as a kitten can be while a giant dog leans down to give him a good-morning kiss.

And when the rest of the crew with Golden Retriever sister Beaker and Bernese brother Bunsen wandered in, Brix didn’t even blink. He’s only been part of the family for a few days, but it looks like he’ll soon be running the show.
