Golden Retriever's Confusion Over Talking Baby Toy Is the Cutest – Yahoo

When my kids were small, we had tons of toys that buzzed, sang, spoke, rang, and made animal sounds. You could barely walk across the floor without stepping on something that would pop up with some sort of odd noise. While babies and toddlers find joy in this cacophony of tones, dogs are often bewildered and sometimes intimidated at what they hear from these strange objects.

Sir Theo the Golden Retriever came across a talking elephant toy as the family's newborn baby was napping and was utterly baffled.

In the TikTok from @sirtheothegolden, the curious canine stood near the infant who was asleep on his playmat. A stuffed animal elephant toy began speaking, which caused Theo some concern.

The gorgeous Golden carefully approached the toy when all of a sudden the elephant started playing peek-a-boo with its ears. Theo didn't know what to think or how to respond, so he stood staring at the talking toy trying to make sense of it all.

Each time the elephant moved its ears and then made that "peek-a-boo" sound, Theo flinched partially in frustration and fear. The precious pooch wasn't sure if he had to protect the baby from this foreign creature or attempt being friends.
