Moment Abandoned Dog Takes 'Leap of Faith' Into Rescuer's Car Is Truly Tear-Worthy

Finding abandoned dogs (or pets in general, really) is such a bittersweet thing. While it’s okay to be happy that you found them in time, it’s also important to acknowledge that an abandoned pet is probably deeply traumatized and in need of some help.

For one dog lover, it was more like the abandoned dog she came across found her. She couldn’t resist getting out to help him, and pretty much immediately, she was ready to go. It feels like a miracle:

Saphix was not at all expecting to find and take in a puppy that day, but she did. At first, she tried to tell the puppy not to get in her car… But that was just a dream. That sweet girl was getting in that car, and there was nothing her new mom could do.

After she took the pup in, she did her due diligence: making sure she wasn’t spoken for, getting her to the vet, etc., and she’s ultimately decided to keep her. There are a few important things to note:
