Tiny Chicken Born Without a Beak Has the Internet Totally in Love – Parade Pets

There are few things in the world that are more adorable and precious than baby animals, and yes, that is a hill I am willing to die on. Puppies, kittens, farm animals — it doesn’t matter who it is, a tiny version of an adult animal is never not going to be cute.

There’s a baby chicken going viral on TikTok who perfectly proves my point. Her name is Wabi Sabi, she was born without a beak, and the internet is already absolutely obsessed with her.

Since @indyrosebud on TikTok first shared this video of Wabi Sabi on Sunday, January 18, over one million people have watched the footage of this unique little chick.

She might have been born without a beak, but Wabi Sabi is just as beautiful as any other baby chicken out there, and her unique look is already stealing so many hearts.

Just like humans, chickens can also be born with craniofacial defects, and it all goes back to genetics. Researchers at UC Davis discovered that these genetic mutations are linked to a gene called talpid2.
