College kids love winter break because it’s a time to unwind from final exams, spend time with friends and family, and of course, reconnect with pets!
Unfortunately, for our furry friends, they can take it particularly hard when their human siblings eventually return to school.
That’s definitely the case with one feline in an adorable TikTok clip. In the video, a sweet girl kitty positions herself on top of a packed-up suitcase, apparently knowing that her human sib will be gone soon.
“I leave to go back to college tomorrow, and my cat keeps putting her mouse toy on top of my suitcase,” writes our undergrad friend.
I totally feel for this kitty and this student! While I’m not headed back to college (I wish!), every time I take out a suitcase, my cat will hop inside my bag like, “Don’t forget to take me along!” and it breaks my heart.
