Located in New York, Cottontail Cottage Wildlife Rehab & Sanctuary is home to many animals, including baby animals that were found orphaned or abandoned by their mothers. They recently shared an adorable video of a tiny baby bunny being bottle-fed, and it’s exactly the serotonin boost we all need.
We’re a little jealous that someone’s job includes holding and feeding baby animals all day. The video may be short, but we’re also not embarrassed to admit we’ve watched it on repeat at least five times… or maybe a hundred!
Cottontail's caption was a joy to read as well: "Sometimes the world feels like too much. This is your permission to stop for a moment. To soften your shoulders. To take one quiet breath and then another.
This little one is safe. Held by steady hands and gentle care. There is no rush here, no urgency. Just the slow, comforting rhythm of someone being cared for exactly as they should be.
Let this be a small pocket of peace. A reminder that softness still exists. That tenderness survives. That rest is allowed, even when the world feels unkind.
