It is a crisis when the favorite person in the house chooses a different cuddle partner. Chewy is a massive Newfoundland who usually spends every second glued to his favorite human, his grandma. You can see their whole life over at @chewythenewfoundland.

But a recent video shows this dog and his grandma experiencing a very awkward moment when she dared to hold another pup. He is just standing there watching, and he does not look happy. This breed is known for being very clingy, so being replaced for even a minute is basically a crime.

Grandma is just sitting in her chair, holding another dog, and Chewy is just… done. He decides the only option is to walk away. He heads right for the staircase like he’s ready to move out and find a new family. His mom is filming the whole thing, and she isn’t helping. She actually tells him that Grandma is cheating on him, adding fuel to the fire.

The video then shows the dog sitting by the front door while Grandma tries to apologize. Chewy is just lying there on the floor and won’t even look at her. He’s the same pup who usually takes over her bed or helps her walk on the ice. But today he is hurt.

Grandma starts clapping her hands to get his attention, but he just ignores her. She even tries to pat his forehead, but in vain. Chewy sticks to his sulky mood.
