MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – We’re tracking a wave of product recalls that could impact your family’s safety from popular snacks and household items to vehicles and even pet treats. If you’ve been shopping for groceries, grilling supplies, baby gear or recently bought a new car, you’ll want to pay close attention.
If you recently bought eight-ounce bags of Miss Vickie’s Spicy Dill Pickle potato chips, check the packaging. Some bags are being recalled because it may contain jalapeño-flavored chips—which have milk as an ingredient that isn’t listed on the packaging. This is especially important for anyone with a milk allergy or sensitivity. Look for a “Guaranteed Fresh” date of April 21st. If you have one, toss it out.
Ford has recalled more than 1.7 million vehicles—including certain Bronco, Edge, Explorer, Escape, and Lincoln Corsair and Aviator models from 2020 through 2024—because of rearview camera issues. The camera may not display an image or could show an upside-down image, both of which increase the risk of a crash. Owners will get a free software update, with notification letters arriving soon.
