One Reddit user recently shared a video of their kittens waking up from a nap, and what follows is a sequence of yawns so expressive, so physically committed, that viewers couldn't stop watching.

Commenters loved seeing this tiny kitty's big yawns, writing, “It's tiring being so little. Everything is so far away!” and “Aww what a tired baby.”

Watching a kitten mid-yawn is something that can make you stop scrolling and smile. The mouth opens wider than seems physically possible for something that small. The jaw drops. The tongue stretches into a pointed curl. Whiskers fan forward. For a brief moment, the whole kitten is just yawn, nothing else.
