CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Almost 750,000 pieces of cookware were recalled due to a flaw in the product that led to nearly 100 reported malfunctions.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a recall for 740,000 Granitestone Diamond Pro Blue Sauté Pans manufactured by E Mishan because the "metal cap on the screw that connects the sauté pan to the handle can become detached and forcefully eject when heated, posing impact and burn hazards to consumers."

The CPSC reported "at least 98 incidents where the metal cap detached and ejected from the pan." One report allegedly included a customer receiving bruising and burn injuries.

Customers who own the affected product, which was sold in Costco and on Amazon, Walmart, and Costco's websites, were advised to stop using it immediately.
