Bringing my two dogs to the vet is always an adventure. Like most dogs, they never enjoy the visit and start trembling the minute we get into the parking lot. My Pug mix literally plants his tush on the ground and refuses to go up the stairs while my senior Dachshund pulls me toward the car. Needless to say, I don't look forward to these yearly checkups either.
I can't imagine bringing not one, not two, not three, but eight little Golden Retriever puppies to the vet at once. Props to whoever was able to accomplish this amazing feat, though the precious pups made quite a spectacle of themselves.
In the Tiktok from @goldenpawretrievers, the scene was accurately described as "pure chaos". Eight absolutely adorable Golden Retriever puppies took charge of the vet's exam room as they explored anything they could get their mouths on.
Rather than looking anxious or scared like most dogs when they are at the vet's, these fur babies were having a ball as they discovered new scents to sniff and textures to chew. Their tails never stopped wagging as they all chomped on those soft blue and white pee pads and tried to tear them apart.
One pup got a hold of some sort of plastic tube but didn't want to share with their siblings. Another confiscated a paper towel and found it was useful for teething. Games of tug-of-war broke out spontaneously with the paper products, though no clear winner was ever revealed.
