Golden Retriever's Pure Excitement Over Raw Carrots Is Too Cute for Words – Yahoo
Both of my dogs love a variety of food. Meat, poultry, breads, sweets… their palates are quite adaptable. However, neither my senior Dachshund or Pug mix are a fan of fruits and vegetables. Maybe a bit of sweet potato if it's buttered or a small slice of apple will suffice, but let's just say my pooches don't clamor for produce.
Winston the Golden Retriever is apparently open to healthy foods and showed unbridled enthusiasm when his mom brought out his favorite orange veggie.
In the TikTok from @winston.goldenpup, the produce-loving pooch spotted several pieces of carrots on the floor and did a little dance. Winston pranced around joyfully as he scarfed up the cruncy vegetable.
"If we become like this dog that can find joy in carrots, then maybe the world can be a better place," the onscreen text suggested.
The gorgeous Golden's affinity for vegetables doesn't stop at carrots. A previous post showed him noshing on some corn on the cob and trying to consume every last kernel.
