Pet of the Week: Oda | Local | kezi.com
EUGENE, Ore. – Our Pet of the Week, Oda, is a cute and playful three-year-old terrier mix who would love to charm his way into the life of his furr-ever family!
Greenhill Humane Society staff said that the first thing many notice about this 60-pound pup are his big, cute ears, little legs, and smiley face. Oda, who came to the Greenhill shelter as a stray, can be a little intense at first but is very friendly and affectionate, staffers said. As a high-energy fellow, Oda’s ideal family would often take him outside to run around and “get his wiggles out.” He would also make a great partner for morning walks followed by relaxing snuggles afterward. A slow, supervised introduction with any feline friends is advised and any potential canine siblings should meet Oda at the shelter prior to adoption, Greenhill said. Oda is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccines prior to vaccination.
Oda was Tuesday’s Pet of the Week on KEZI 9 News. Every Tuesday, KEZI showcases a homeless pet during the 6 p.m. broadcast. If you are interested in Oda or the other animals at Greenhill Humane Society, more information is available here.
Greenhill Humane Society is located at 88530 Green Hill Road and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Its phone number is 541-689-1503. Appointments are available.
