Rescue Cattle Dog Sees a Horse for the First Time and Says 'Absolutely Not' – Yahoo
Meeting new friends can be scary, especially when they’re about 10 times your size. A RescueCattle Dog named Jasper learned this the hard way when a horse came right up to the car window to say hello.
In the clip, Jasper is sitting in the passenger seat, window rolled down, when a big brown horse strolls up like he owns the place. Poor Jasper takes one look, freezes, and gives the kind of wide-eyed side-eye that says, “Nope. Absolutely not.” You can almost see him thinking, What kind of oversized dog is this, and why is he in my space? Check out this poor baby's reaction in the clip below!
The video was shared by @jasper_thedog. The comments summed it up perfectly: "He's behind me, isn't he?" and "The dog is saying, 'Mom, what kind of dog is that?'" Another added, "If I don't look at it, maybe it will go away," while one fan nailed it: "Cattle Dogs are my absolute favorite. They are 1000% committed to whatever they're doing. Their jobs… or their anxiety… or their side-eye."
Even though poor Jasper was a bit freaked out, I'm sure at the end of the day he was just fine. Meeting new friends can be scary even for the bravest of pups! Big hugs for Jasper! He deserves them that poor baby!
Cattle Dogs are famously brave, but they’re also professional overthinkers. These pups are laser-focused, whether that’s herding livestock, following their humans around the house, or, in Jasper’s case, staring down a “mystery creature” at the window. The combination of smarts, energy, and a little bit of sass is exactly what makes them so beloved.
