'Old Man' Golden Retriever Acts Like a Kid While Hitting Local Playground – Yahoo

Those of us who have been lucky enough to love a dog well into their senior years know that this time in their lives can be truly bittersweet. It's so hard to see them slowing down and moving through their day with less energy than they once had as a younger dog, but at the same time, it's such a beautiful thing to be able to make their golden years as wonderful and comfortable as we possibly can, knowing just how much it will mean to them.

And no matter how old a dog gets, there are certain things that will bring the puppy right out of them. For the Golden Retriever in the TikTok video below, it was going to the playground.

This week, @olafandelsa_thegoldens shared this video of what happened when their senior dog Olaf went to the playground with his Golden sister (whose name is, perfectly, Elsa). Despite his age, it was like he became a puppy again — he was so ready to play!

"Olaf had so much fun climbing around a playground like he used to when he was a baby," Olaf's human wrote in the video's caption.

It's so sweet to see him playing on the structure with his sister, with that happy face and tail wagging like there's nowhere else in the world that he'd rather be.
