It is Global Pet Adoption Weekend and these very cute pets are looking for a forever home

As it is Global Pet Adoption Weekend, Mars, the world’s leading pet food company is shining a light on the positive impact of pets on mental wellbeing. There are a staggering 139,100 cats and dogs currently in UK shelters, and 87% of UK owners saying pets boost their wellbeing.

Mars is on a mission to connect more people with the joy of adoption which can change two lives – the pet’s and the pet owner’s.

An estimated 63,800 dogs and 75,300 cats currently living in UK shelters. The pet food company are asking you to consider adopting UK pets this weekend and experience the joy of adoption, transforming a pet's life alongside your own.

Mars is supporting shelters across the UK to help hundreds of pets find forever homes.
