Golden Retriever Unsuccessfully Tries to Get Postal Worker's Attention and It's Adorable
Both my senior Doxie and Pug mix are friendly dogs, yet the first thing they do when they see another person or canine is bark. A lot. They get very vocal whether they see someone up close or through a window. Maybe it's their (loud) way of saying hello.
Wally the Golden Retriever has a calmer way of greeting others when he sees them from afar. The friendly fur baby attempted to say hi to a postal worker by persistently using his paw.
In the TikTok from @wally.meets.world, the gorgeous Golden had his two front paws propped up on the windowsill as he looked outside. Wally picked up his paw and tapped at the window several times trying to greet someone at the mailbox.
The postal worker didn't seem to hear Wally's window scratches either, but that didn't stop the determined dog. He kept tap-tap-tapping at the window in the hopes of getting her to look over and return the greeting but to no avail.
Wally's expectant expression turned to sadness as he watched the mail truck drive away. He couldn't understand why his friendly gesture wasn't reciprocated and had a look of rejection on his face. He slowly took his paws off the windowsill and got down from the chair as his parents tried to soothe his hurt feelings.
