5-Pound Brussels Griffon Tries the Viral 'Ghost' Trend and Wins the Internet – Yahoo
Halloween is fast approaching and people are already grabbing their getups for the big day. My canines aren't fans of wearing costumes, though I've managed to pull off a few every couple of years. One time my senior Dachshund dressed up as a dog detective (Sherlock Bones) and even won a contest. My Pug mix wore a lion's mane once for about five minutes, then managed to shake it off in protest.
While my dogs may not be in the Halloween spirit, lots of fur babies are fine with getting in on the fun. Social media is currently abuzz with a "ghost" trend and Edna the Brussels Griffon totally nailed it.
The viral "Ghostface AI trend" is a shoutout to the horror movie franchise, Scream. You upload a picture of yourself and use AI to morph it into a 90s-ish photo and add killer Ghostface creeping up behind you. Perfect for the Halloween season, right?
Edna wanted to give the trend a try and donned a white sheet with just her tiny face sticking out. The 5-pound pooch pulled it off brilliantly, with her huge eyes prominently darting about. The video followed by several still shots emulated Edna's photogenic face while giving off that eerie mood.
Followers raved over Edna's effort on the popular social media, fad though noted she looked more adorable than frightening.
