Experts advise that the best ways to show your pets they can rely on you is to just being there for them and not force interactions. That includes allowing your bunny to approach you on their own terms, speaking softly to them, moving slowly around them and giving them healthy treats to chew on like small pieces of fresh herbs or small amounts of fruit. "Whatever you can do to avoid startling your pet and creating a warm, comfortable environment for them around you is crucial," Warner says.

Every bunny is an individual, making it hard to say for sure that every trusting rabbit will display these. But Warner says these signals are some of the most common signs of trust you’ll notice if you have a bunny family member that lives with you.
