Adorable 'Puppy Submarine' Plowing Through Leaves Is Total Cuteness Overload – Yahoo

It’s that time of year when the leaves are falling and our dogs can’t resist playing in them; chasing, jumping, and crunching through every pile they find. Lucky for us, people love sharing videos of their pups having fun, like this adorable clip Kris Plociennik recently posted on Instagram. It’s guaranteed to be the cutest thing you’ll see today!

The video starts with their dog, Emerald, who discovered a huge pile of leaves in a ditch alongside the road. Because of her color and size, she practically disappears once she dives in, making it look like a little “puppy submarine” zooming through the leaves at full speed ahead! Make sure your sound is on for this one; the crunching leaves make it even better!

Kris' video made everybody's day! @montesheinblum shared, "Leaf gremlins are scary!" @hilaryburch438 pointed out, "A little dog having a lot of fun. Love that sound of the rustling leaves!" @vonb64 joked, "His nickname is 'Rustle'!"

Just about everybody we know loves watching videos of dogs jumping in leaves; it's one of our favorite parts of the fall season! People love watching it so much that CBS News even did a feature on a Labrador Retriever named Stella, who's internet famous for it!

So why do we all love watching dogs jump in piles of leaves, and why do they love it? For us humans, The Week said it best, "To be blunt, part of what makes watching dogs jump into leaf piles so great is that jumping into leaf piles, as a human, is pretty awful." Kids might be able to get away with it, but we adults would be hurting if we tried it!
