Baby Goat Disappears Into Matching Springer's Coat as They Snuggle – Yahoo
Baby goats are the most darling little creatures with big personalities. They have a massive capacity for socialization, curiosity, and affection. The smart little farm animals bond with their mothers and fellow herd members. However, some members of the herd may be more of the adopted variety.
A recent social media video showcases the endearing bond one tiny kid forms with the family's English Springer Spaniel on the farm. The best part: The pair matches so perfectly that they look like they are one.
High Five Farms is home to a plethora of farm life. But their current stars are a baby goat named Mousie and a springer named Ruby. Their mom caught the most adorable video of them snuggling inside on a rug. Thankfully for us, she shared it on their Instagram, @high_five_farms.
Ruby's face is curved around the little goat's back end, while Mousie sits with her head up against Ruby's leg. While the aww-worthy interaction is heartwarming all by itself, what makes it better is the pair's coloring. Ruby is a black, brown, and white English Springer Spaniel. Mousie is an all-black goat with splotches of white on her head, sides, and feet. She even has a brown hoof that matches the dog's brown spots.
Since they are cuddled up together, it is hard to tell where one animal begins and the other ends, warranting the in-video caption that reads, "cut from the same cloth." Indeed, these two appear to have the same mother at some point in time. The post caption reads, "The sweetest little pair. Mousie, the baby goat, and Ruby, our springer. Looking back, I guess this is why Mousie still thinks she is a dog."
