Mirin, the British Shorthair cat, loves riding the bus and subway with her mom. We’re not sure exactly why, but if we had to guess, it’s probably all the people she can demand pets from, and nobody seems to say no!

On a recent subway ride, Mirin, safely on her kitty leash, spotted a passenger a few seats away who she decided was the perfect candidate for some attention. She climbed over the other passengers and promptly made herself at home in the woman’s lap. The look on her face at the end is just too cute!

We laughed when Mom said in the caption, "Mirin has no boundaries." We're guessing most people don't seem to mind when Mirin chooses them!

We were so surprised to see that Mirin's video went viral, racking up more than 10 million views, 2.3 million likes, and more than 3,700 comments. @Rose said what we were thinking, "I feel like she was like, 'Mom? Wait… Mom??? If you're over there, then whose lap am I sitting on?!'"

@Yakuun got 131k likes when she asked, "Did she suddenly realize that was not her human? LOL!" Another commenter asked, "Did she realize at the end that she is in fact not sitting on your lap?!
