'Broken-Hearted' Foster Chihuahua Mix 'Rips Through Milestones' on First Night With Loving Family

Dogs that are abandoned and found in horrible living conditions need a lot of healing and recovery after being rescued. Lots of patience and love are required when fostering or adopting a rescue dog, giving them plenty of time to acclimate to their new environment and trust again.

Isabel Klee, who is well-known in the pet fostering circles, just took in an adorable senior Chihuahua named and is fully prepared to give him all the time he needs to heal.

"The first night with our brokenhearted foster dog," the onscreen text explained. "We could tell he was sad and confused."

The senior Chi cried by the door as well, uncertain of his surroundings. He finally fell asleep on the couch for some much-needed rest. Klee then made Moonie Pie a nutritious meal, whiched seemed to perk him up a bit. He even joined his foster family to watch an episode of Jeopardy! (I'm betting Moonie Pie knew a lot of the answers.)

After a little more shuteye, the canine cutie was actually very excited to go on a walk with his foster dad and fellow fur baby, Simon. He literally pranced around before heading outside to explore the city streets.
