Cat Has Adorable Reaction to Compliments From Mom – Yahoo

We all love a good compliment. Nothing lifts our spirits more than having someone say something sweet to us. For many, compliments help lift our self-esteem. It can make us wonder if animals have the same reaction we do when someone says kind words to them.

We've seen dogs wag their tails when spoken to, but cats are harder to read. At times, it seems like they already have a big ego. Cats know who they are and aren't afraid to show it. They are confident and independent. Rarely do they act like they rely on us. Even though they do, they seem to have convinced themselves that they don't actually need you. You're simply their human counterpart.

A recent video on TikTok showed that sometimes, cats do love sweet nothings whispered to them. @juliadsimmons, a content creator on the app, shared an adorable video of her tuxedo cat being swept off her feet by the compliments she was giving her.

"Look at how cute you are!" Julia gushes about her feline companion in the video, "You're so pretty!" When she hears the word pretty, Julia's cat rolls on her back and gives a sweet meow. Almost as if saying thank you. Her mom, on the other hand, says her behavior was because she knows she's cute and pretty.

"She's like, yeah, mom, I know," she captioned the video. Of course, the comment section was filled with even more compliments for the lovely cat.
