'Chubby Potato' Golden Retriever Pup's New Hiding Spot Is Way Too Cute – Yahoo

As with a new human baby, there are so many wonderful firsts with a new puppy that it's hard to do anything else. You want to capture every adorable moment and not miss a thing, like their first walk, bark, or even their first attempt at conquering stairs.

One Golden Retriever puppy recently did the latter and was so proud of himself for doing it, he all but declared it his new hiding spot, forevermore.

I'm a sucker for puppies of any kind—I'm not picky—and Murphy stole my heart. There's something about Golden Retriever pups with their chubby, stumpy, fluffball bodies as they awkwardly navigate the world around them that always sends me into happy mode.

Watch as this little cutie figures out the stairs and finds the best hiding spot all at once, while big pup brother, a Blue Heeler named Bandit, watches on!

I could watch little Murphy hop up and down stairs all day. He's one Golden potato determined to crush his goals, and he nailed it in one go. I imagine Bandit is feeling like a proud big brother, even if it means he'll have to keep a closer watch on the curious little boy.
