As the favorite go-to human in the house, that list of events usually falls on you (at least, in my house it does). While it may sound exhausting after a long day of adulting, it's the perfect time to help the kiddos get in the sleepy land mindset and help strengthen your bond—this also applies to pets!
Charlie Jr., everyone's favorite dancing Cockatoo, has the sweetest bedtime routine with his favorite human, Dad, and it looks just like parenting a toddler (in the best way)!

Having two human children of my own, I can relate to this on a painfully deep level. Once upon a time, they also requested dance parties before bed, and honestly, those were the best times of my life. Charlie may be 25 in Parrot years, but he's all toddler, and we love him all the more for it.
One of my favorite things about Charlie and Dad's tight bond is that Mom—aka the spare human—is the one filming from the sidelines as the dynamic duo do their thing. Charlie may not realize how supportive she is by capturing all these precious moments, but we thank her for it!
