I adopted my Dachshund when she was about a year and a half old, and my Pug mix was close to two years old. Unfortunately, I never got to see them as puppies. I'm betting they were both ridiculously cute, extremely curious, and very vocal. My precious pooches have a penchant for verbalizing their emotions, which I assume started at a very young age.
Jefferson the Bulldog puppy apparently just discovered his "big boy" bark and seems proud of this monumental step toward maturity.
In the TikTok from @jeffersontheenglishbully, the canine cutie was lying on a work table just taking in his surroundings. Jefferson must have seen or heard something of interest because all of a sudden, he let out a few loud barks.
Jefferson seemed both surprised and proud at the noise that came out of his mouth, like he wasn't aware he could produce such a loud presence. The adorable pup rolled around on the table in a sort of celebration of his verbal milestone.
This adorable and very popular breed tends to be on the quiet side. Bulldogs are very well-mannered and bark when provoked, startled, or excited about something like a new toy. These canines may also bark to get your attention if they're hungry, need to relieve themselves, or just want some snuggle time.
