It is nearly impossible to resist the cuteness of one Golden Retriever puppy. The fluffy paws, the floppy ears, and those little teeth that somehow make even a nibble feel sweet. Now imagine that joy multiplied by over two dozen at once.
That is the scene at one Massachusetts rescue, where 26 Golden Retriever Puppies are now safe and sound. In all, 56 dogs, including three mothers and their 53 Puppies, were rescued from deplorable conditions in a New York animal cruelty case and brought to safety.
Golden Retrievers are known for their affectionate, easygoing nature and playful spirits, making them one of the most beloved family dogs in the country. With so many of them gathered at Second Chance, the energy must feel like sunshine multiplied by 26.
For anyone dreaming of adding a Golden Retriever to the family, this is a rare opportunity. Purebred Goldens can cost hundreds of dollars, but these pups will soon be available for adoption through Second Chance Animal Services in East Brookfield, Massachusetts.
Not only will welcoming one of these sweethearts bring endless joy into your home, but it will also help ease the burden on shelters that are already working overtime.
