English Labrador Puppy Adorably Hops Around Like He's Part Bunny and It's the Cutest

My Pug mix does this little spin dance mixed with a hop when he's excited. When he knows dinner is just about ready or we're asking him if he wants to go for a ride, he breaks out this adorable little jig to show his excitement. He's got that barrel-like Pug build, so seeing him bounce around is completely adorable.

In the TikTok from @hanktheenglishlab, the precious puppy bounded out from behind the couch with a bounce rather than a walk. Hank hopped across the carpet like he was a rabbit or kangaroo rather than a pup.

The canine cutie's excitement over just jumping around was adorable, and the hopping added to Hank's charm. Maybe bouncing is his own puppy version of the zoomies, or he thinks he's a hybrid bunny-pup, aka 'buppy'. Regardless of the reason, Hank's zest for life was a hit with followers.

Though they fall under the same Labrador breed, English Labs serve different functions and have unique features from American Labs.

English Labs — also called British Labs — are usually bred for show competitions as well as companionship, where American Labs are meant for high-energy tasks and activities like hunting and field work.
