Animal Rescue Cumbria and The Wainwright Shelter take in, rehabilitate and rehome 350 cats and dogs every year. Once a dog has been assessed by the animal care team, they can be advertised for adoption.

The team at the rescue shelter said: “Meet Nell, this sweet lady has come to us after deciding the working life isn’t for her, she is now looking for a home life with lots of adventures!”

Nell will need help transitioning to living in a home, getting used to all the new sounds and smells, as well as housetraining.
