Funny Dog's Odd Choice of Favorite Toy Is Too Cute to Resist – Yahoo
Sigh, dogs. They really are the funniest creatures, aren’t they? One minute you think you’ve got your pup all figured out and the next — BOOM. They’re favorite toy is a concrete block. Yep, we said concrete block. One dog mama is still scratching her head over the reason why her adorable pup could have fallen in love with the concrete object. But it’s his absolute favorite thing.
Emily has noticed that her dog has one toy in particular that he really favors. It’s not a tennis ball, it’s not a stuffed animal — it’s not even a chew toy or bone. It’s a concrete block. Yep, you read that right.
We’ve seen a lot of quirky dog behavior before. But this one really takes the cake. Video from Emily shows her pooch playing with his “toy” in the backyard. He was really loving it. He rolled the concrete block around and around on the grass, before barking at it and letting the object rest at his side. He had to keep it close after all.

“How do I explain to a dog sitter that he begs to do this every day and no other activity/toy will suffice?” the woman joked in the video’s text overlay. Good question! And people in the comments section had some answers for her.
“Get him a herding ball, a weighted herding ball, I got one for my Blue Heeler and she uses it everyday cuz we don’t live on a farm. I swear by this,” one person advised.
