Alright animal lovers, get ready for your weekly dose of adorable! It’s Furry Friday, and we’re back with a paw-some collection of your cutest, goofiest, and most heart-melting pets from all corners of the country. Prepare to have your day brightened by this parade of furry friends!
First up is Princess Fluffybutt (yes, that’s really her name!), a Persian cat from sunny California. Her owner, Sarah, describes her as “a cloud of fluff with an attitude.” And it’s easy to see why! Princess Fluffybutt boasts a luxurious white coat that seems to defy gravity, and judging by the photos Sarah sent in, she definitely rules the roost. One particularly charming shot shows her perched atop a stack of books, looking down at the world with an air of regal indifference. Don’t let the name fool you, though – she’s a queen.
Next, we travel to the Midwest to meet Gus, a lovable Golden Retriever puppy. At just four months old, Gus is all paws and boundless energy. His owner, Mark, sent in a series of action shots showing Gus frolicking in the snow, chasing his tail with wild abandon, and generally being the epitome of puppy joy. One photo, in particular, captured our hearts: Gus mid-leap, covered in snowflakes, with the biggest, goofiest grin imaginable. Mark reports that Gus loves belly rubs, squeaky toys, and chewing on anything he can get his paws on.
From the wide-open spaces of Montana, we have Bandit, a mischievous Miniature Australian Shepherd. Don’t let his small stature fool you; Bandit is a force of nature. According to his owner, Emily, Bandit’s favorite pastime is herding anything that moves, from squirrels to dust bunnies. One hilarious photo shows him attempting to herd a group of chickens, with predictably chaotic results. Emily also shared that Bandit is incredibly intelligent and has already learned a variety of tricks, including playing dead (which he apparently does with dramatic flair).
Switching gears to the reptile world, we’re thrilled to introduce Sheldon, a charming Leopard Gecko from Florida. Owner, Jason, tells us Sheldon enjoys the simple pleasures in life, like basking under his heat lamp and hunting crickets. A photo shows Sheldon perched on a small rock, looking contemplative. Reptiles need love too and Sheldon is a prime example.
Our Furry Friday journey wouldn’t be complete without a feathered friend. This week, we’re featuring Percy, a playful Parrotlet from New York. His owner, Lisa, describes him as a tiny ball of green energy. Percy loves to sing, dance, and mimic sounds. One adorable video shows him bobbing his head to music and attempting to sing along – it’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Lisa also mentioned that Percy is surprisingly intelligent and has learned to say a few words, including “Hello” and “Goodnight.”
Finally, we have Hazel, a shy hamster from Maine. Hazel may not be as boisterous as some of our other furry friends, but she’s just as lovable. Her owner, Maria, sent in a sweet photo of Hazel nestled in her favorite burrow, surrounded by bedding. Maria says Hazel loves to eat sunflower seeds and run on her hamster wheel. This little one loves a good nap in a warm and cozy space!
That’s all for this week’s Furry Friday! Thank you to everyone who submitted photos of their amazing pets. We hope this collection of cuteness has brightened your day and reminded you of the special bond we share with our animal companions. Be sure to check back next week for another dose of furry fun!
