German Shepherd Meeting Abandoned Kitten for the First Time Will Melt Your Heart – Yahoo

In a sweet TikTok video that will absolutely melt your heart, a German Shepherd meets a tiny, abandoned orange kitten for the first time and the exchange will undoubtedly give you all the feels!

At first the two are about a foot apart. The gorgeous guy lies flat on his tummy as the weeks-old kitty arches his back, delivers a series of moans and hisses, and even takes a swat at this kindly canine. Undeterred, the German Shepherd slowly approaches the softball-sized kitten, begins licking and snuggling him, and even allows the kitty to rest on top of his back!

As nap time approaches, the two new friends hunker down for some serious shuteye as our doggie covers his kitty with a giant paw. Off to la-la land for these two!

The level of cuteness here is off the charts! German Shepherds are so beautiful, inside and out! This one is definitely showing that loyal and protective side.

That’s for sure! As gentle and sweet as this boy is, I wouldn’t want to see him when he's upset. You have to imagine if someone messed with that kitty, he'd unleash his watchdog instincts.
