Golden Retriever Channels 'Inner Chewbacca' While Chomping on Stick – Yahoo
My two dogs love their plush toys. They love to sink their teeth into that soft velvety texture and try to get all the stuffing out so they can capture the squeaker in the middle. Neither my senior Dachshund nor my Pug mix play with sticks very often. I don't think they're fans of the hard surface, which most likely hurts their gums.
That's definitely not the case with Winston the Golden Retriever. The precious pooch is happiest when he's got a stick in his mouth and tries to chew it down to sawdust.
In the TikTok from @wackowinston, the gorgeous Golden was outside with a rather large stick between his teeth. His mom opened the sliding glass door and called for him to come in but Winston had better things to do — like chomping on that branch.

The determined dog made some low growling noises very reminiscent of the iconic Wookiee warrior Chewbacca — aka "Chewie" — of Star Wars fame. Any time Winston's mom attempted to get the stick away and bring him inside, his "inner Chewbacca" materialized.
The fur baby backed up each time to get some distance from his mom, then lay on the ground with the stick between his paws for some deeper bark biting. Winston was in no hurry to stop chewing.
