Golden Retriever Puppy Assumed 'Retriever Assignment' From Day 1 Like a Boss – Yahoo

As one of the most popular breeds to ever exist, Golden Retrievers have a lot going for them. Not only are they friendly and sociable, but they'll out-retriever any pup out there. Task them with grabbing something, and these dogs will not hesitate to tap into all that Golden goodness!

Maui happens to be one of these Golden Retrievers, and his "retrieving" began almost as soon as he burst into the world as a little puppy. In a throwback video montage, you can see this is one good boy who understood the assignment.

"A real baby Retriever," the cute post is captioned, and I'd say he mastered it! Maui is one smart pooch who instinctively knew that something in him needed to "retriever" things. And so, he did just that (and did an amazing job)!

"Takes his job very seriously," one person commented. "Is this a puppy or a fluffy robot sent from the future to steal hearts?" another mused. "His lil waddle, are you kidding me?" another added.

Maui is a "pawfessional" at being adorable! Retrieving skills aside, the dog raised by his Corgi sister is also very expressive. I don't know who said dogs can't make different faces, but this Golden proves that wrong. Look how cute he is!
