Knowing the dangers she faced, the sponsor attempted to rescue her, but Jenny, understandably wary of strangers, remained elusive. The sponsor, deeply concerned about the soon-to-be mother, “sent up a prayer for this soon to be momma to stay safe, warm and fed.”
Fate intervened just a few days later. The same sponsor found Jenny being lovingly petted by a young woman, herself without a home. Together, they carefully and gently secured Jenny, finally bringing her to safety.

“The young lady was happy to hear there was a rescue who had space available to get this girl off the street, especially since she had had at least three other litters out there, and not all of them made it,” the rescue shared. In honor of the young woman’s selfless act, they named the cat Jenny.
“You might ask what we named momma kitty…we named her Jenny, in honor of the helpful young lady who even though she has no home to call her own, she made it her mission to help our sponsor ensure this momma kitty would have one,” they explained.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, Jenny is now safe, warm, and well-fed. She’s settling in nicely, enjoying soft beds, cozy blankets, and nutritious meals. She’ll never have to worry about finding her next meal again and will be able to raise her kittens in a loving and secure environment.
