Motherhood is cleaning up after the children in every life. No matter your species, kids are messy, and you can't be going around with dirty kids! Getting them to sit still long enough to clean them up is also a universal challenge, apparently.

On Thursday, October 9th, we got to see one devoted mama cat hard at work cleaning up her baby. Somehow, she'd managed to completely cover her face in milk, so mom got right to work, but not without making the sassiest face:

This was one of the last things that this group of cats got to do as Erin's Fosters: they've gone to a different foster home. That will hopefully be their last! They'll be there until everyone gets spayed/neutered, and then they'll be able to go off to their forever homes.
Gale and her kittens were all rescued from a kill shelter about a month ago, and unfortunately, Gale was kind of sick. The kittens were super young, too, so they needed to be bottle-fed. Erin has started the weaning process, but as we can see, it's a little messy.
