Cats are supposed to be the enemy of small animals, right? You'd never expect a cat to be best friends with, like, a mouse or a hamster. Even dogs are iffy: cats, according to a lot of the media, are kind of off in a league of their own. They don't like to be bothered.
That's just not true, though. Under the right circumstances, cats can learn to be friends with just about anyone. All it takes is some time and patience and cats will adjust to life with the strangest of siblings.
Take, for example, this cat and bunny duo. When they showed off their epic friendship on Tuesday, November 4th, everyone was totally enamored with them. How could you not be? They're perfect together:

Theo and Toast are the best. They spend most of their time together and when they're not together, they're bothering mom. The pair just met back in August, and pretty much immediately, they hit it off. Toast is still just a kitten, which has definitely made things a little bit easier.
Theo has taken having a baby brother in stride: before him, he was an only child. He still gets some alone time with mom, especially when he's eating, but he seems to prefer life with a sibling. Bunnies can get lonely, so many of them actually prefer the company of siblings!
