Pets of the week – Christian County Now

Hopkinsville, KY – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, sizes are waiting to be adopted at the Christian County Animal Shelter. The shelter is at 2935 Russellville Road, and the phone number is 270-887-4175. Business hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and the shelter is closed for lunch from 12:30-1 p.m.
Fireball also known as Cash — a 3-year-old Catahoula Leopard Boxer mix with striking looks and an even sweeter personality. This handsome 52-pound boy was owner released and is now ready to find a forever family who will appreciate all he has to offer. Fireball does great with kids and other dogs, and he is both house and crate trained — making him an easy addition to the right home. However, he does not do well with cats, so a feline-free home is a must.
Fireball is smart, eager to please, and already knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come. He loves attention and will happily soak up all the pets and treats you’re willing to give. He truly thrives on being part of the action and included in family time.
