Pets of the Week: Meet Ocho and Grinch – Brainerd Dispatch

Ocho is all smiles, good energy and brains — smart as a whip, life of the party kinda guy! Who wouldn’t want to be friends with this charming and entertaining extrovert? Ocho is a 9-month-old blue heeler mix who was surrendered due to his owner no longer having the ability to care for him properly. He was originally found as a small puppy on the side of the road when his previous owners took him in. But, due to his breed, high energy and need for speed, they decided it was best for him to find humans that like to explore and stay on the move!

Ocho is crated-trained, house-trained, dog-friendly, cat-friendly, kid-friendly (even gentle with infants!), walks nicely on leash, enjoys swimming, is good with veterinary exams and grooming needs and knows basic commands. Are you impressed yet?

Despite this adorable black cat’s name, “Grinch,” he actually truly enjoys the holiday season! He’s even wearing his festive Santa hat! Grinch is a 10-week-old male kitten just waiting for someone to come scoop him up! This talkative feline is very opinionated and will hold a full conversation with you about everything that happened in his day! He just wants to be loved and snuggled. Grinch will make an excellent companion for a lucky someone this Christmas! This sweet boy is neutered, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested and and vaccinated.
