Pit Bull 'Harmonizes' With Squeak Toy Like a Lounge Singer – Yahoo
Both of my dogs love their plushie toys. Their favorite activity is chewing out all of the stuffing so they can get their teeth on the squeaker in the middle. Then I get to hear a sympony of squeaks for what feels like an endless amount of time.
Zara the Pit Bull prefers to sing along when her toy starts squeaking and recently shared her vocal talent in a social media post.
In the TikTok from @zarathepit, Zara's mom squeezed a large yellow toy so it would squeak. Every time the toy emitted a little peep, Zara howled in unison as she tried to find the right note.
The precious pooch gave an adorable performance and clearly has some vocal talent. The pretty Pittie sounded like she could be an opening act for a lounge artist or small venue singer. Zara most likely has some bookings in her future.
Those noisy little knickknacks are a favorite of dogs for a few reasons. The high-pitched sound of a squeak toy sounds like an animal to a dog and stimulates their prey drive. Wolves, who are in the ancestral line of dogs, had to hunt for their food on a daily basis and depended on their sense of smell and hearing to obtain their prey. Squeaks from toys mimic those sounds.
