Precious Cat 'Falls in Love' With Shelter Supervisor in a Love Story for the Ages – Yahoo

Life in a shelter is not easy for any animal, no matter how sweet they are. Some take it much harder than others, but don't let that fool you: it's not easy for anyone. There is not an animal in the world who would rather be in a shelter than a loving home, but unfortunately, getting there can be a difficult task.

Though there's nothing anyone can do to fix the problem until the animal gets adopted, the shelter staff and volunteers will always try their best. If there's one thing absolutely no one in the world can say, it's that shelter employees aren't trying. They try harder than anyone!

On Wednesday, October 8th, one shelter cat proved that their efforts are always worth something. When her favorite shelter supervisor sat down for the daily staff meeting, she ran right up to him and wouldn't let go! It seems like everyone in the world was excited for him to take her home:

The Cat Care Society clearly has some amazing staff that the cats feel very safe with. Unfortunately, whether he took her home or not is unclear; probably not. However, even if not, she gets to see him all the time! He's the facilities supervisor, leads all the morning meetings, and spends time with all the cats.

This shelter is really interesting, too: they pride themselves on being a "free roam" cat shelter. Their cats are allowed to wander the facilities as much as they'd like, which is how she was able to get to him to begin with. The shelter is full of perches, places to lounge, and lots of toys. They can make any friends they want!
