Quaker Parrot Grooming Her Pet Dachshund Is So Full of Love – Yahoo
Many of our favorite animal friends can develop some of the most unlikely friendships with each other. One pet parent may have given us all our newest pair of pet siblings to obsess over on TikTok. Meet a Quaker Parrot named Piwi and a Dachshund called Grimmick.
Recently, @shannadp gave us all a little peak into their morning routine, and it's the cutest thing! Piwi is captured grooming her "pet" Dachshund, and the way this parrot treats this lucky dog is so full of love. Go ahead and press play to see for yourself.
They have such a special bond! As shown in the video, Piwi really cares for this sleepy puppy. This parrot is making sure this doggie is clean and is prepared to start the day off right. As you can see, this birdie is so ready for Grimmick to get up. Piwi definitely gives one unique wake-up call!
The video text overlay says it all when asking, "Have you ever seen a bird so in love with a dog?" But this dog doesn't seem to mind. At the end of the clip, this Dachshund even opens their arms to this little birdie, and they snuggle up together. There's no doubt that Grimmick probably wanted a bit more rest before embracing the day — and playing with their bestie!
Commenters have fallen in love with these two, and they love seeing their relationship. More than one gushed that the duo are the definition of "cuteness overload."
