Stunning Black Maine Coon Kitten Is the Cutest 'Werewolf Pup' We've Ever Seen

Werewolves were made famous through various books, TV shows and films. These mythical, shape-shifting humans, who change into a wolf or a hybrid wolf-human at the sight of a full moon, were all over the silver screen in the iconic Twilight franchise and continue to be a part of major fictional plotlines.

Though the appearance of werewolves can vary, there is a general look they possess. This tiny black Maine Coon kitten could easily be mistaken for a baby werewolf and seems to know it.

In the TikTok from @mossycottagemainecoons, the adorable black kitten was held up high for viewers to take in his striking likeness. His very fluffy black fur stuck out in tufts like he was caught in mid-transformation, giving his coat a jagged look. The bewildered yet calm expression on his face almost had a feral, “just howled at the moon” vibe.

The pretty kitty’s giant paws seemed full-grown rather than infantile, and his spiky, furry ears went straight up into a defined point. This Maine Coon had barbed facial hair coupled with a distinct white goatee that made him look like he was ready for anything.

The aptly chosen Warren Zevon classic hit “Werewolves of London” played throughout the short video, setting the perfect tone. Though this tiny feline had a sort of spooky aesthetic, his cuteness and unique presence were a hit with followers.
