Stunning Maine Coon Cat Siblings Are the Cutest Christmas Decoration Destroyers – Yahoo
Some cats tiptoe around Christmas decorations. Maine Coons? They march straight through the holiday season like they’ve been hired for demolition. In the adorable clip, two massive Maine Coon siblings walk down a festively decorated hallway with their giant tails straight up, swishing confidently between green and red garland like they own the place. Superimposed on the video is the caption: “Decoration destroyers #1 and #2 reporting for duty,” and honestly, it could not be more accurate.
And trust me, I know exactly what this kind of chaos looks like. Every single day, my own Maine Coon, Meatball, has removed an ornament or two from our Christmas tree and proudly turned them into toys. Maine Coons act like the holiday season was created specifically for them to supervise, interfere with, and redecorate according to their personal artistic vision.
The adorably festive TikTok video clip was shared by @winniewonderkitty, and I don't know about you guys, but these cats and I are in the Christmas spirit! One person commented, "Tails in full fluff mode for extra destruction."

Someone else said, "Be careful with the poinsettias, they are toxic to cats. Beautiful babies and pretty decor. Enjoy." Which, if you are curious, is actually not totally true. Keep reading!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, which also means it’s the time when social media goes into full panic mode over poinsettias and pets. The good news is that the fear is mostly based on a myth. Poinsettias are not highly toxic to kitties. They can cause mild irritation if chewed—think drooling, a little stomach upset, or skin irritation from the sap, but they are not deadly or extremely dangerous. That said, it’s still smart to keep them out of reach because felines love to chew anything that looks festive, and no one wants a cat with a tummy ache or a toppled holiday centerpiece.
